What is your favorite form of exercise?
I love to switch it up! I often find myself getting bored with a single style of training so I like to do all kinds! You will find me doing strength training or High Intensity Interval Training the majority of the time. Occasionally I will do some cross training to combine the two, or join in on the group fitness yoga, barre, and tabata classes. I’ll try anything that will challenge me!
What do you do when you are not at the gym?
I love to do anything outdoors. My husband and I spend a lot of time rollerblading, walking, or hiking and exploring up north. I also love trying new recipes in the kitchen, or getting crafty with DIY projects.
What do you enjoy most when it comes to working out at UpLift?
I love this community of women. Jill and Chris have built such a wonderful place to workout and challenge yourself. The two of them work together so well and inspire the members to become the healthiest versions of themselves. How do you stay motivated?
For me there is no better feeling than accomplishing a hard workout. That in itself motivates me to get to the gym. I am also motivated by progress. There is always room to grow and improve when it comes to health and fitness but seeing even the smallest changes helps to keep me motivated. Building muscle takes time but consistency is the key to success.
